There once was a woman, who wanted a puppy badly
to the shelter she went, to look at faces so sadly
With so many animals under one roof
she was sure she'd find a soulmate with a woof
But life has a way of changing your views
the puppy seeking woman was instead drawn to the mews
She brought home one kitty and then went back for another
For every happy cat must have a brother
So began the tales of the partners in crime
who are gnawing on my laptop as I finish up this rhyme.
“Time spent with cats is never wasted.” – Sigmund Freud.
